Betsy Neidel

Betsy Neidel
Founder
Blue Heron Holdings, LLC

Betsy has been involved with US-China business for more than 20 years, in executive and management roles as well as in advisory capacity. She was based in Greater China for much of the 1990s with companies including Commercial Metals Company of Dallas and Global Sources Media of Hong Kong.

After six years with Dell, supporting China market development and call center optimization, Neidel founded Blue Heron Holdings to provide strategic and intercultural solutions to businesses and individuals. That means helping people work, plan, negotiate, and manage effectively in both US and Chinese business environments. Betsy is functionally bilingual in English and Mandarin and works with China-based teams as well.

Betsy earned a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a Masters in Business Administration in International Management from the Thunderbird School of Global Management. She received the United States Presidential Scholarship under the Reagan administration.
