Benjamin Pruden
MBA Candidate, 2012; TVL Associate, Entrepreneur & High Tech Marketer
University of Texas, McCombs School of Business

Ben is a native Texan, from Houston, who has lived all over the country and the world. He is a high-tech marketer, entrepreneur, and general lover of interesting things. After graduating from Willamette University in Oregon in 2003 he moved to Beijing, China where he started an English and Chinese language school, which he ran for four years. Once he had exhausted himself in this endeavor in early 2008 he decided it was time to come back to the great U.S.A. He lived in San Francisco working in translation technology and services as an account executive before starting his MBA at the University of Texas, McCombs School of Business - where he is currently a student.

Since in school he has worked with Bazaarvoice, Spredfast, and interned this summer at Salesforce.com in Product Marketing back in San Francisco. He is currently an associate with Texas Venture Labs, which is lead by Rob Adams, as well as VP in the Graduate Business Technology Group and the Entrepreneurs Society. Ben has a passion for geeky stuff, great food, fabulous friends, beautiful place, skiing, hiking, biking, golf, and music.
