E-Analysis strives to be a blog that is different from the rest. Whereas many of the blogs here offer global perspectives on business, leadership, the economy or corporate management, E-Analysis will be thoroughly ... pragmatic. Simply put, this blog will help you improve your top line by analyzing your business' "Internet Intelligence". Specifically, E-Analysis will show you how to assess your business website's ability to generate leads, prospects and, most of all, revenue. Topics will include

  • Web analytics
  • Conversion rate optimization (CRO)

Our goal is to help you unlock the enormous, intrinsic power of the Internet for effective marketing. Questions we will seek to answer include

In short, this blog's for you, the reader. We're not here to just pontificate endlessly on topics, just to hear ourselves talk. No grandiloquent macroeconomic theories here; there are already tons of blogs out there that already do that, anyway. No, we want E-Analysis to benefit you. To that end, we encourage your comments, and we will feature your comments in successive blog posts. Additionally, we want to assess your website, your business, your online marketing issues, so that we can help you achieve your objectives.

Eric, I'm glad to see you blogging on these topics. We at the university are doing a lot of thinking about social media as a channel for engagement with the "outside world." I'm tremendously motivated by the potential of social media, so I look forward to sharing insights with you.

Thank you. Social media is definitely the hot topic now. Everyone, including businesses, universities, hospitals, etc., are trying to understand and apply this new media to their markets. We see social media as one piece of the larger Internet marketing arena, so this blog won't focus so much directly on social media per se, but it will certainly touch on it. We would certainly be happy to analyze anyone's social media use and profiles to offer feedback on how you're using it, and to help you be more effective in using social media to connect you with specific audiences.
