Texas Ventures Welcomes New Student President, Nick Spiller

Texas Ventures today announced their new student President, consummate connecter Nick Spiller. Texas Ventures is a team and membership organization that empowers entrepreneurs through a binding and lasting network of critical resources, mentorship and strong ethics at The University of Texas.

Texas Ventures has a steady and subtle six year history that claims early-stage development to a Ron Conway vested company, Rally.org, and several other burgeoning startups. The organization offers a promising year ahead with Nick Spiller at the helm.

Nick Spiller is the co-founder of uThinkTank (an online platform that recruits student thought leaders) and co-engineer and chair of UT Entrepreneur Week (an action-packed ideation unconference).

Texas Ventures’ mission is to lead the university's entrepreneurial and startup ecosystem by spanning across all departments, inducting leaders and reinvesting in the continuity and growth of membership through startup capital injections or direct network support.

A rare mix of humility, startup potential and insatiable drive for success is embodied in Nick Spiller – a diehard Longhorn. UT’s entrepreneurial eco-system continues to grow and the startup programming is becoming more market relevant and frequent. This will be further enabled by Nick Spiller and his cadre of venture-bound colleagues.
